First of all, welcome to The Ashley Madison Diaries. As explained in the About Us window, this blog is written from inside the world of online infidelity. It was created to provide you with accurate information from a source that should be considered more credible than all others – due to the fact that we have access to over 5-million people who have decided to look for extramarital affairs.
This first post is written in response to an article titled, “How Tiger’s Apology Expedited My Divorce” posted on MomLogic.com on February 23, 2010.

This story brought up several points that Ashley Madison reinforces. Just because you are married, doesn’t mean either of you are happy. The author of this article says she and her husband have been separated for 6 months (separated, but still married) and her transgressions occurred during that time. Some won’t classify that as cheating, but obviously her husband thought otherwise (by calling her a DirtySlutWhore).
While this woman chose to finally file for divorce, it is worth noting that a lot of people (especially during a recession) just can’t afford to get divorced. There is a financial dependence on one another (house payments, children, etc.) and therefore some people think staying married is the best option. Enter AshleyMadison.com. Just because you and your husband/wife are still legally married and living in the same house, doesn’t mean you can’t start your new life. You have a better chance of finding someone who understands your situation by using a service like AshleyMadison.com than attempting to find someone new at a bar (where you know at some point you have to have that uncomfortable conversation explaining that you are still married and living with your wife). Why not meet someone in the same (or similar) situation?
