Taking a look over the past year, we decided to release another annual report, shining a light on the reality of infidelity. The 2018 Report on Customer Statistics’ findings verify more than 14,500 new member accounts were added on average each day and further revealed that for every active paid male account there was 1.11 active female accounts created in 2018. This report validates and clearly demonstrates the health and vibrancy of this unique community of like-minded people.

According to the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, infidelity rates have spiked by 40 percent since 1990. Wednesday Martin, author of “UNTRUE,” cited that 50 percent of women have admitted to having intercourse with someone besides their spouse while married.
In early 2018, we worked with Ernst & Young LLP (EY Canada) to confirm its 2017 member statistics. E&Y Canada produced the 2017 annual report showcasing the true nature of infidelity as seen through the members of Ashley Madison, a growing community of like-minded individuals looking to find infidelity through the discretion that comes with the ability to screen their affair partners before they make a move.
